At Rome Fashion Week, Italian designer Lorenzo Riva sent models down the runway in his typically avant-garde creations, but it was the hair that made us do a double take.
Um, Lady Gaga, is that you?
The real-life mannequins strutted down the catwalk in out-to-there hair: From towering blonde, disc-shaped toppers to protruding mushroom-esque buns, these hat hairdos hinted at the eccentric style of the boundary-pushing pop singer.
The Spring 2010 runways were flowing with daring and edgy looks, and many celebrity hairstylists mark this season as the era for extreme style. Clearly, Riva followed suit. What do you think about these artistically, crafted hairstyles? Are they too over-the-top? Is it an obvious nod to Lady Gaga? Leave a comment and tell us what you think!
